**Established payroll professional. Manages payroll activities, prepares payroll and time and attendance transactions, maintains and assists in collecting and analyzing payroll related data with full understanding of payroll policies and controls, and wage and hour laws. Collects input for and responds to queries and participates in audits, reconciliations and projects.**
**Responsibilities**
- Maintain payroll accounting information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
- Perform activities necessary to balance and reconcile GL accounts.
- Resolves discrepancies and inquires.
- Assure compliance with US, company payroll and accounting policies.
- Supports clients and business partners by providing accurate, relevant, and timely data.
- Manage, report and mistake proof escapes & turn-backs.
- Support regional/global initiatives; execution of process/continuous improvement.
- Liaison with internal/external auditors on payroll related audits.
**Requirements**:
- 2 years of experience in accounting or finance area.
- In-country equivalent payroll certifications/qualifications is a plus (FPC, CPP, CPA).
- Proficient english conversation (strong writing & reading).
- Strong understanding of payroll accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with blackline, SAP or other enterprise accounting software.
- Familiarity with ADP global view or other enterprise payroll software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high sense of urgency and exceptional organizational skills.
- Analytical skills, experience with balancing and reconciliations.
- Ability to work under changing priorities and with firm deadlines.
- Ability to work with sensitive and confidential data.
