The payroll administrator is responsible for administering, managing, and auditing the payroll function for the Marmon Foodservice Technologies (MFT) Food Solutions Businesses utilizing Workday, Tress and ADP. The payroll administrator will play a key role in assuring the systems match and are accurate. Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, this is a highly visible and essential role within the organization.
**What You'll Do**
- Administers all components of the payroll system and processes multi-company, bi-weekly and weekly payrolls timely and accurately utilizing ADP, Tress and Workday.
- Ensure that the calculation of earnings and deductions are accurate and completed in a timely manner, in compliance with Federal, State, local laws for our U.S. and Mexico employees.
- The payroll admin must also ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Process payroll information associated with newly hired employees, terminated employees, wage verification, withholding allowances, pay rate changes, status changes, benefit deductions, payroll garnishments and direct deposits. Verify Pre-Tax as well as post-tax deductions as prescribed by Company Benefit Policies.
- Respond to payroll inquiries and requests by employees and other internal and external users of payroll data. Research and troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and resolve any payroll related issues.
- Assist Payroll manager to help run and submit weekly and Biweekly payrolls for employees.
- Review and maintain Tress and ADP databases for employee payroll data. Maintain physical employee payroll files.
- Payroll analysis, auditing, and reporting
- Review, verify and ensure proper accounting and accuracy for all payroll transactions, benefits, and accruals. Contact and resolve with ADP any discrepancies and related questions.
- Schedule special or off-cycle payrolls
- Provide ad hoc reporting.
