Payroll Analyst The Payroll Analyst is responsible for managing, processing, and verifying timely and accurate employee pay, complying with current labor and tax regulations. This role involves reviewing attendance records, calculating compensation, deductions, benefits, taxes, and other withholdings, as well as working closely with the Finance department. The Payroll Analyst must also ensure that employee files are up-to-date and backed up, in addition to managing the different internal and external audits to verify the accuracy of the information. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Process weekly, bi-weekly, or extraordinary payroll for all employees, ensuring the accuracy of salary calculations and deductions. Manage, review, and audit records of attendance, overtime, absences, and other payroll-related incidents in the time and attendance management system (Kronos). Ensure compliance with labor, tax, and social security laws, as well as internal company policies. Generate payroll-related reports such as cost reports, internal audits, and trend analysis. Collaborate with Human Resources in the administration of benefits, vacation, disability, and other aspects of compensation. Respond to employee inquiries about their salary, deductions, and other payroll-related aspects. Prepare payments for taxes, social security, and other legal concepts, and ensure their timely delivery. Administration of employee files, guaranteeing information on contracts, documentation of each collaborator. Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and suggest initiatives to streamline workflow.
