Under the supervision of the Payroll Coordinator, this position is responsible for preparing the weekly and semimonthly payroll, including salaries, overtime, loans, savings fund, food coupons, and vacation bonuses. Additionally, this position elaborates the termination payments.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESReview time records weekly, verify the validity of the documentation to be entered, and enter this information into the payroll system. Process leaves, absences, vacations, disability, promotions, and terminations.Register the Social Security transactions.Compute retroactive pay and other adjustments to employee pay accurately and timely.Prepare documentation requested by associates from institutions such as the Social Security and INFONAVIT.Answer incoming calls from employees regarding the status of their payment.Record hours worked, overtime, leaves, absences, and vacation days. Maintain accurate and complete payroll files.Elaborate termination payments as necessary.Act as the initial resource for payroll inquiries and propose solutions to associates.Calculate and review the food coupons process.Manage, with the supervision of the Payroll Coordinator, the Savings fund process.Distribute the pay stubs and the food coupons.Elaborate weekly and monthly absenteeism and overtime reports for the supervisors and managers of the plant.RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTSSupervisory Relationships:Reports to Payroll Coordinator.Organization Relationships:Regular contact with hourly workers and administrative employees.External Business Relationships:Moderate contact with Government Institutions.Moderate contact with banks and payroll-related vendors.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSEDUCATION:Preference for a Technical or Professional Degree.EXPERIENCE:Preference for 1 year of experience in Payroll or related area.FORMATION:Preference for proficiency in MS Word & Excel.
