The new plant is under construction, initially this position will work from home.Main Accountabilities- Leads the execution of the biweekly and Monthly payroll cycle including generation, review, and audit of all reports.- Ensures that the company complies with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.- Maintains records and files of employees payroll history, federal and state taxes, social security, insurance, retirement, etc.- Performs account reconciliations, and provides GL support relating to payroll processes.- Maintains the relationship with outside payroll vendor and ensures proper service level agreements and performance standards are met.- Develops and implements payroll operations policies and controls to ensure the prevention of errors and to ensure all processes are in compliance with corporate policies, and state and federal regulation.- Identify opportunities for and implement continuous process improvement and transformational projects.What You'll Need To Succeed- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Tax,Human Resources, or related field required- 5+ years of related and progressive experience supporting payroll operations.- In-depth knowledge and experience of payroll and time & attendance calculation and processing- Advanced Excel skillset- Proficient with Workday, Kronos, or other common HCM, payroll and time/attendance systems preferred.- Exceptional attention to detail and insistence on accuracy and timeliness
