• Act as day-to-day liaison with payroll vendor – ADP GlobalView.
• Respond to employee tickets/queries ensuring timely review and resolution of issues.
• Maintain payroll procedure manuals and business process documents.
• Ensure quality controls in the payroll process and update documentation- includes reconciliation of results and audit checks.
• Highlight and escalate relevant matters that may impact the running of payrolls to Team Manager.
• Conduct timely and accurate processing of cyclical events including weekly, bi-weekly, month-end, qtr-end, and year-end activities.
• Maintain up to date knowledge and expertise of statutory legislation and ADP systems.
• Timely and efficient response to M&A's • Kronos time-keeping reporting for payroll purposes • Payroll Tax monitoring to ensure complianceQualifications and skills• 3-5 Years of US payroll experience • Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in education and experience • Knowledge of Year End processing requirements for multiple provinces • Proficient with Word and Excel.
• Ability to work under time constraints to ensure deadlines are met.
• Experience with SAP Payroll highly desired • US payroll tax knowledge • Multi-state payroll knowledge • Fluent in English
