**As a Payroll Specialist, you will handle end-to-end routine payroll duties for salaried and hourly personnel across all locations in the US. You will adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as Local, State and Federal regulations. You will be the first point of contact on all payroll inquiries from internal staff, management team and external businesses, and assist in the processing of all year-end payroll filings according to the specific deadlines.**
**Responsibilities**
- Supports daily operations and develops procedures to provide quality and efficient payroll operations.
- Analyzes and supports the regular disbursement of payroll, processing of all pay data, maintenance of payroll records and internal control activities to ensure accuracy and timely completion of payroll activities.
- Supports preparation of regular reports for weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Researches payroll issues, provides analysis and makes recommendations to management.
- Reviews and manages policies and procedures surrounding payroll processes to ensure conformance and identify areas for improvement.
- Responds to low to medium complexity questions from employees and supervisors to provide clarity on payroll related issues.
- Manages small-scale payroll projects.
**Requirements**:
- Proficient in English (writing and reading).
- 3 years of related experience in a payroll position within a national organization.
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role.
- University education in a related discipline (office administration, basic accounting, payroll).
- Knowledge of SAP-based GlobalView (ADP) payroll system.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong knowledge of payroll and human resources administration practices and procedures.
- Good human relations and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal staff.
- Ability to lead a team.
- Excellent organizational, time management and task prioritization skills.
