.Job TitlePayroll SupervisorPosition PurposeSupervises the daily administration of payroll processing and ensures accurate and timely execution of payroll process in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal government, social contributions, e-invoicing and e-accounting regulations, starting from buildup payroll up to correct funds distribution, including proper books recordings, social contribution, state payroll taxes and withholding to employees payments. Establishes controls and procedures for department continues improvements and reports for internal usage and third parties.Primary Accountabilities- Ensures the accurate processing of the entire payroll cycle including the weekly payroll, interbank payments and manual checks, and reviews proper compliance on taxes, financial and accounting. Coordinates any modification or update on payroll system for compliance and improvements and communicates directly with system provider. Validates any special project or process on payroll department, such as trends, stock options, ExPats, ECO, financial analysis, etc.. In charge of providing guideline on payroll and payroll taxes regulations.- Reviews Authorities compliance at all instance levels, Social Contribution payments (IMSS / INFONAVIT/ INFONACOT/ Others Payroll Taxes), State´s payroll taxes, Xml files, income tax to employees, etc. for all employees of the companies validating the correct calculation. Reviews the annual determination of Social Security risk premium, reviews system correct determination and provides options to diminish contributions. As well, reviews report to be provided to internal o external user, including auditors.- Review's payroll and payroll taxes accrual accounts and validates that they are duly recorded in accounting books and verifies that records are accordingly to Fiscal Year Financial Plan. Elaborates FY Plan and Forecast for following year. Validates corresponding accounts monthly and periodical reconciliation.- Document's payroll processes with process maps, checklists, and procedures. Collaborate with the SSC Finance Manager in provide all the information required to evaluate and analyze existing payroll policies, procedures and business processes. Keep updated the weekly Payroll Key Performance Indicators to determine the root cause of errors and exceptions identified in the payroll process. In addition, assist Accounting Manager and SSC Finance Manager on the implementation of changes and/or quality control measures leading to best practice operation.- Assists with special projects and transactions where payroll or payroll taxes analysis is required. Assists other departments with doubts that arises due to Companies day to day transactions related to the area. Looks for group opportunities and suggests procedures for processes improvement.
