RHI Magnesita is looking for a skilled and motivated Payroll Tax Manager - NAM!
The Payroll Tax Manager - NAM is responsible to deliver high quality services in Payroll and Personnel Admin processes to the region in scope by leading a team of line leaders and professional experienced
This role drives operations KPI's adherence and continuous improvement by allocating right staff to right tasks and projects, will coach and develop team capabilities to support performance and meet partner business units' requirements
This position can be remote but is preferred to sit in Ramos Arizpe, Coah.

Payroll Management
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes for multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Manage a team that is strong in reviewing and validating payroll inputs, including employee data, time and attendance records, and tax-related information
- Coordinate with internal teams and external payroll providers to ensure seamless payroll execution
- Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and controls to maintain data integrity and mitigate risks
Compliance and Regulatory Adherence
- Stay current on payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor legislation across the NAM Region
- Ensure compliance with local payroll tax requirements, social security regulations, and statutory deductions
- Coordinate with legal and finance teams to address payroll-related compliance issues and resolve any discrepancies
Process Improvement and System Enhancements
- Deep understanding of global payroll processes
- Driving process standardization across countries in the same stream
- Setting proper governance to address the delivery needs
- Present performance indicators in operational reviews, analyze data & trends
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate payroll processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy
- Continuously evaluate existing payroll systems and software, recommending enhancements or replacements as needed
- Ensure that AtG Process Maps and SOP's are followed and process controls are in place
People
- Coach the team managers on delivering through others, support adherence to people practices & delivery on objectives
- Adhere to RHI Magnesita practices in terms of people retention, performance assessment, motivation and talent development
- Perform Individual Performance reviews with the team members
- Develop action plans, coaching and mentoring team members, developing talent, organizing career path meetings with team members
- Owning and facilitating team meetings for better process performance and enhancement of team skills
- Facilitating issues resolution not only within team, but also inter-team and cross functional
- Ensure all team members are aware of KPIs for agrees deliverables and of current & expected performance output.
- Build strong and effective relationships with the Stakeholders
