.**Eaton's Electrical Division is currently seeking a Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) Specialist to join our team. This position will be based either in El Paso, TX or San Diego, CA out of a home office, that will require travel to Eaton's electrical manufacturing and supplier sites in the US and Mexico.****Position Overview**:Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. It's where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential—and where you can help us reach ours.**In this function you will**:- Lead and mentor the PCBA manufacturing sites on world class manufacturing & productivity improvement- Develop and implement advanced processes and PCBA methodologies including new hardware initial set-up and testing and installation and qualification of new equipment.- Lead projects as the project manager that include equipment purchase & installation, equipment rearrangement for optimal flow, and process improvements to drive productivity improvements.- Troubleshoot production (process, material and equipment) related issues, lead, coordinate and implement improvements and corrective actions. Including the development or improvement of manufacturing operation sequence and tooling designs.- Supports and analyzes NPD processes during pilot runs and during mass productions. Aid in verification and analysis of solutions of manufacturing issues and cascade learning. Monitors ECO implementations (Engineering Change Order) for design, process and parts confirmation affecting processes.- Conducts plant trainings and certifications to support process familiarization and other issues.- Coordinate with PCBA sites on improvements and new process implementation. Monitors analysis and failure across sites and assists action teams to formulate effective corrective actions/solutions to improve productivity and line efficiency. Reviews, develops and maintains Manufacturing process/line.- Coordinates with Product engineers, AI Engineers, Test Engineers, QC, and CI Leaders on issues related to to manufacturing processes.
