The group leverages this understanding of powertrain clutching technology to develop interactive control systems and strategies for all types of torque management.BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for "dynamic, results driven" individual to join as a Customer Service Rep. at our PDS SLP Plant in Mexico.In this role, and under direct supervision of the Materials & Logistics Manager, the Customer Service Rep. will be primarily responsible for ensuring that customer orders are correct and should be the customer's first contact regarding communication of order status and related issues or timely delivery of orders.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Receive customer information and update orders in a timely and correct manner according to delivery policies.- Communicate customer requirements on their behalf to the Production Control area.- Request that available finished product inventory be shipped in a timely manner.- Provide Customers with timely feedback regarding the status of their orders.- Place, cancel and expedite orders.- Being the official representative of the company to maintain efficient communication and a healthy working relationship with all Clients, continually striving to improve said relationship.- Keep management informed regarding existing or potential problems that could prevent the delivery of orders.QUALIFICATIONS- Schooling: Degree in Administration, International Trade, Economics, Industrial Engineering.- Time of experience in a similar position: 1 year or more in a similar position.- Required technical knowledge: Knowledge of manufacturing processes.- Other requirements: Microsoft Office, ERP System.COMPETENCIES- Priority setting- Customer Focus- Quality Decisions- Drive for Results- Action OrientedSAFETYThis position will adhere to Global Star Safety Program, including safety rules, practices and training as outlined in the BorgWarner SLP Safety Policy Manual, which includes the use of equipment, protective devices, or clothing that the employer requires.
