BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for "dynamic, results driven" individual to join as a Supervisor Materials at our SLP Plant in Mexico.
In this role, and under direct supervision of the Manager Materials, the Supervisor Materials will be primarily responsible for the compliance with the supply of material through a production program respecting safety guidelines and work standards.
- Coordinate the activities of the supply chain in the productive areas
- Monitor the order and cleanliness of work areas
- Continuously check that the supply of material is necessary according to the procedures to facilitate its handling and quality reliability.
- Develop continuous improvement projects
- Secure the raw materials needed for the production schedule
- Ensure the correct supply of materials to production lines
- Ensure proper handling of materials
- Promote safe practices at work.
- Respect for FIFO in the supply chain
- Actively participate in the Annual Physical Inventory.

**Qualifications**:
- Industrial Engineer or degree course.
- Time of experience in a similar position: 2 years or more in a similar position.
- Required technical knowledge: Inventory control, warehouse management, material management, industrial hygiene and safety, Lean Manufacturing, Quality and Environmental Systems.
- Other requirements: Microsoft Office, ERP System
This position will adhere to Global Star Safety Program, including safety rules, practices and training as outlined in the BorgWarner SLP Safety Policy Manual, which includes the use of equipment, protective devices, or clothing that the employer requires.
This individual will work in manners that stress the importance of preventing accidents and illnesses.
He/she must take every precaution reasonable in the given circumstance for the protection of themselves and co-workers.
In addition, he/she is responsible for reporting all injuries and/or possible dangerous situations, incidents, or occurrences to the immediate supervisor.
