**Summary (About this Position)**:
Engineering supervisors are responsible for overseeing the work of their engineering teams.
Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the team while ensuring that projects meet product requirements and project milestones.
**Your Role (i.e.
Key Job Responsibilities)**:
- Execute Flow 4 (development) Program Implementation & Support Flow 5 (Production) Model Year Changes
- Supervise EC NA Product Engineering Group
- Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements
- Facilitate Design reviews and compliance to Design Review Thoroughness Process
- Train and support Engineers in creating and maintaining product DFMEA
- Train and support Engineers in creating and maintaining product Validation Planning and execution
- Train and support Engineers in Aptiv Change Management Process and Cost Estimates Process
- Support Program Management Gate Review requirements
- Support Design and Material Cost reduction target
- Meet Flawless Launch Metrics
- Meet EC NA Customer Flawless Launch Targets
- Engineering Competency
- Institute design control and robustness plan for EC NA
- Include BOD/BOP compliance, design verification, product validation
- Zero Design Errors/Non Compliances
- Understand all applicable Aptiv Enterprise Operating System (EOS) processes, work instructions, and policies.
- Technology / Innovation
- Support development of product portfolio and technology roadmap
- Manage and document sanctioned and approved Advanced Development Project (ADP) and Technology Development Project (TDP) (aka Flow 2)
