**The Position**
We're looking to add a People & Culture Business Partner to join Teletrac Navman in Monterrey, MX! This role is responsible for providing advice and counsel in all areas of the employee experience including on-going employee relations, employee development, interpretation of P&C policies, and creating and implementing new programs and initiatives. The position supports managers and employees globally, building partnerships across functions to deliver value-added service to designated client groups.
The P&C BP will consult with management and senior leadership globally, providing P&C guidance when appropriate. Serve as Mexico employee relations point of contact for business partners outside of region. Manages and resolves both routine and complex employee relations issues globally. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance in each region. Provides performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
In this role, you'll get to:
- Builds relationships with key functional leaders, understanding their individual business requirements and strategies; providing coaching, advice and support relation to organizational change, employment relations and talent management
- Handles routine and complex employment relations issues, conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations as required. Collaborating with regional P&C team as needed.
- Monitor, measure and manage key P&C metrics and KPI's; to meet or exceed target. Problem solve and implement counter-measures to close gaps and drive improvements in HR metrics.
- Provides P&C policy guidance and interpretation
- Develops and executes contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers
- Support employee engagement processes, analysis and annual action planning
- Ensure compliance to the end-to-end associate on boarding and exit process
- Manage and oversee recruitment activities, providing a high level of support to local hiring managers, through defining standard work/best practice in all hiring activities
- Maintain P&C or associate databases / files and reports as required (both physical and electronic)
- Complete other ad hoc P&C tasks and projects
- Handle highly confidential associate employment relations and payroll information
Other responsibilities:
- Analyze the current Benefits package in México, and work with the Total Rewards and Local Finance functions to build a continuous improvement strategy.
- Owner of Legal Powers for Labor Relationships within the Local Labor Board (Junta Local de Conciliación y Arbitraje).
- Manages legal and labor requirements on demand.
- Comprehends and implement:
- Federal Mexican Labor Law updates.
- Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social (STPS) updates.
- Nom 035 and 036

- Solid experience in an HR Business Partner role; including experience resolving complex employee relations issues for Mexico
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
- Able to work globally with a diverse array of people and build strong working relationships.
- Willingness to take ownership, be held accountable and achieve a good outcome for all stakeholders
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Passionate customer service orientation with extensive experience in managing multiple stakeholders
- Available to Travel Internationally (with current US Visa)
