These include recruiting, onboarding, and training as well as team member engagement, relations and retention.What you'll do...Execute the People & Culture Department's long-term people plan and play a role in its design.Help position SLS as an employer of choice.Maintain a consistently high level of engagement amongst the team.Champion SLS values and behaviors to ensure they permeate all areas of the business.Work with managers to resolve any team issues and concerns promptly.Administer various People & Culture programs across the property,including recruitment & onboarding, benefits communication and administration, training, and recognition programs.Ensure the managers of each department maintain compliance with applicable laws and practices.Exercise strong judgment in evaluating situations and recommending solutions relating to our team.Partner with the Payroll and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of all information regarding pay & benefits.Use feedback from team surveys, mystery shoppers and your own observations of the team to create, coordinate and lead training initiatives.Develop a program of ongoing team events.Providesupport and guidance to People & Culture Coordinator/Generalist, management, and other team when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks under delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations
