.Rulesware is currently looking for an experienced People Manager to join our team. As a People Manager you will be trusted with the responsibility of supporting and driving a high-performance culture within our professional services practices, by overseeing and supporting a group of employees who are assigned to client or internal projects. As part of this responsibility, you will manage and coach your team members' performance, career growth and advancement, salary planning, education/certifications, personnel issues and overall morale. Additionally you will be responsible for providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership so that Rulesware continuously drives initiatives to improve overall team and team member efficiency, morale, recognition, retention, and advancement. In addition, it is critical that you partner outside of your team with various company leaders and colleagues to enhance the performance of your direct reports.**What we do**:**Here are a few of the things that make us different**:- We use industry tools to properly and accurately size projects and to ensure project integrity- Simply put, we get it right the first time, on time, and on budget- We work to live, not live to work. The people in our lives are what's more important to us.**Responsibilities**:- Partner closely with our delivery leaders to gain performance insights, provide guidance to your direct reports, and hold them accountable for on-time amazing work.- Give clear, direct, and actionable performance feedback to everyone on your team through real-time feedback, including course correction feedback when they are not meeting expectations, all based on Rulesware's coaching and management methodologies.- Act as a culture ambassador, emulating our core values and helping your direct reports to incorporate them into their behaviors, choices, and results.- Maintain a high level of discretion with sensitive people information - especially when assessing employees' concerns and/or complaints. You must act impartially and objectively when working closely with Legal/HR to conduct thorough, unbiased investigations and recommend outcomes.- Be consistently accessible and approachable with your team and others you partner with, so that you are actively involved in your team and the company's day-to-day affairs.- Partner with People & Culture (HR) and the Resourcing Manager regarding effective onboarding for new hires and resourcing changes and rotations.- Identify potential areas of conflict and ask appropriate questions to solicit more information if there is a suspicion there is some conflict going on. Provide support or suggestions to your direct reports on how to more effectively work with a personality that is different from their own.- Ensure you and your team are compliant and adhere to all of our company's policies, processes, and procedures
