This role As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced People Operations Specialist to join our People Team. This role is focused on managing and optimizing our HR systems and processes, contributing to the operational efficiency of the People Team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently, problem-solve effectively, and contribute to the development of a positive workplace culture. This is not an employee-facing role but rather one centered around HR operations and systems management. Responsibilities Demonstrate proficiency in, utilize and manage various People Team systems, including BambooHR, Lever, Small Improvements, and CultureAmp. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of HR systems. Partner with other members of the People Team to support the implementation of and revision of existing processes. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they meet organizational needs and compliance requirements. Stay current with HR laws and regulations, ensuring all HR-related documents are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with current regulations. Create and maintain HR metrics and reports to support decision-making. Analyze HR data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Take on various additional responsibilities in HR as needed to support the People Team's objectives and the organization's growth. Qualifications Experience with and strong proficiency in/with: HR Systems such as BambooHR, Lever, Small Improvements, and CultureAmp. Project Management software such as Asana or Jira Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, including advanced MS Excel & Google Sheets skills Managing systems implementations and integrations Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage complex projects with tight deadlines, and proactively identify areas for improvement. Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR Operations, within a multinational startup environment. US Payroll & Benefits Administration is a huge plus. Fluent English language proficiency is required for this role as we have a highly diverse and global business; Fluent Spanish and Portuguese language is a plus
