No matter who you are, where you're from, or who you love, you can always influence the people around you and make a positive impact in the world.Know more: PepsiCoJobs Join PepsiCo, dare for better.ResponsibilitiesThe OpportunityAnalyze, record and provide the documentation and accounting adjustments that ensure the financial closure of the company, as well as prepare, integrate and execute the financial report in HFM system in order to provide reliable information to shareholders based on corporate policies from PepsiCo.Your ImpactAs CNTRL & RPT ACCOUNTANT your responsibilities would consist of:Assist with period-end close procedures including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals to ensure accuracy of financial statements during period end closing, including HFM upload.Collaborate with PepsiCo divisions on various accounting transactions.Prepare and record income tax journal entries.Partner with US Corporate Consolidation Center of Excellence on accounting matters.Analyze balance sheet reviews to ensure no unexpected financial impacts.Execute financial reports for PepsiCo (Smartview / FDM – HFM).Participate in the Periodic, Quarterly and Annual reports required by the organization.Generate clear communication with OU, Intercompany counterparts and other users throughout the region and in the SSC.Maintain internal control procedures and ensure compliance with SOX requirements.Support external audit requests.Complete ad hoc projects as requested.QualificationsWho Are We Looking For?EducationAccounting degree (CPA preferred).Experience2+ years of relevant experience in USGAAP.Good time management skills, self-directed, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish), has the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with US teams.Advanced knowledge of the principles of Accounting processes (Bank Management/ AR/ GL/ Intercompanies/ Financial Reporting/ Taxes), and business standards for integrated financial analysis.Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Knowledge desirable in the following ERPs: SAP, HFM, FDM
