This level encompasses a variety of fields within the category of emissions compliance; has responsibility for emissions issues for a product line; provides early compliance design criteria for new product designs. Work is of a complex nature. Works with internal and external workgroups. Responds to questions for request for information relevant to emissions issues. Prepares plans and reports for noncompliance issues, communicates and aligns internally, working to submit action plans. Leads an engine line in emissions activities and requirements, tracking project progress and ensuring compliance. Interfaces with engine engineering to gain a good understanding of upcoming projects and requirements and develop plans for compliance.
