The Queretaro Simulation team has full ownership of the LIDAR simulation toolchain and is its main responsibility, however we currently work on simulating a variety of other Sensor technologies like Radar, Camera and Ultrasonic. We work using the AGILE methodology and follow up project progress using JIRAThe elected hire would join the team in:- Model the mathematical behavior of ADAS sensors- Development of algorithms to simulate physical effects that affect light and electromagnetic waves- Increasing the fidelity of the simulations- Adding or improving features- Working on creating road scenarios- Creating test drive recordings for our internal customers based on their specifications.Apart from these responsiblities, the position also includes responsibility over increasing the overall architecture maturity, test framework and sotware quality of the simulation toolset.Additional responsibilities- Configuration of test scenario traffic participant behavior- Processing of images/raw data from the synthetic simulation- Generation and delivery of recordings containing synthetic sensor signals- Generation of custom ground truth data for different sensor modules- Documentation of progress, toolset and contributions to the code
