Piping Design Engineer

**Responsibilities & duties**- Develop general arrangement and layout drawings including specialized **piping systems**, **pump stations, pumproom or mechanical room layouts & sections**, single Line Diagrams, equipment layout, interconnection drawings, equipment schedules, concrete layouts, structural steelwork and related specialized equipment from PFDs and using auto CAD.- Perform **material take-offs and develop bills of quantities**, equipment lists, and cost estimates, as required for project deliverables.- Produce **pipework drawings** including arrangements, sections, and isometrics.- Designs or redesigns complex layouts and drawings from general written or verbal specifications, using industry standards.- Works with other team members to obtain reference information for drawings, executing projects on time and on budget.- High attention to detail and accuracy and a sense of ownership of designs from beginning to end.- Reviews design layouts to find and resolve problems involving compatibility with basic design concepts.- Self-motivated and able to function independently with mínimal supervision in a fast-paced team environment.**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**- University/College Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) / Industrial Distribution / Industrial / Technical / Technology/ Mechatronics.- 3+ years related work experience.- Proficient in Windows 10, Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)- Knowledge of NFPA Codes and the Building Code.- Excellent communication, leadership, organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: $20,000.00 - $30,000.00 al mesLugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
