Responsible for raw material planning, follow-up of releases with all the suppliers, maintaining optimum level of raw material to control obsoletes and avoid production shortages and downtime.ResponsibilitiesWork to improve and maintain the delivery performance of suppliers.Analyze raw material demand and identify inconsistencies.Contact with the suppliers and participate in the forecast and allocation meetings.Control and avoid raw material obsolescence.Monitor logistic complaints and charge back topics.Maintain direct contact with finished goods planners to be aware of daily production schedule and avoid shortages and downtime.Control resources to ensure getting raw material on time with the correct quantity for SMT (Surface Motion Technology) and Business Units in coordination with the Finished Goods.Identify and realize inventory reduction potentials for Celaya Plant.Reduce logistic costs.Support consignment and VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) projects.Check the parameter setting in SAP:MRP (Material Raw Planning) parameters.Parameters of SA (Schedule Agreement), purchase order to supplier.Manage over 600 parts numbers.QualificationsLogistics Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Administration or International Business, Business Management Engineering.MethodologiesA3, 5s, 8D's, 5 why's.#J-18808-Ljbffr
