.**_PRIMARY FUNCTION:_**Plan and control the production of finished and semi-finished products and the purchase of raw materials; through the management of the company's supply chain, guaranteeing the use of available human, material and installed capacity resources; obtaining adequate service and inventory levels that meet demand and adhere to internal and corporate policies.**_ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: _**- Coordinates the company's supply chain in such a way as to minimize operating costs and maximize customer service and billing indicators.- Analyzes the results of MRP runs in the area under his charge and then establishes production and purchasing plans and programs; depending on the level of workloads and the installed capacity in the company's production centers and the capacity of the suppliers.- Generates, prints, delivers, sends, follows up and completes production and purchase orders.- Monitors production during all production processes to inform customer service and keeps the production area informed about delivery commitments with customers.- Develops corrective actions according to the result of the analysis of the "Service level" indicator and non-compliance with delivery due to missing products manufactured or purchased.- Defines actions to control inventory and minimize obsolete or slow-moving materials according to the results obtained in the "IQR" and "Days on Hand" indicators.- Follows up on quality rejections and requests for deviations, also controls the exit and return of inventory to the maquila and, if necessary, requests inventory transfers to the warehouse staff.- Keeps the necessary planning parameters updated for the proper functioning of the MRP in SAP, for this it calculates Safety Stocks, Reorder Points, Minimum Lots and Delivery Times.- Follow up on requirements requested by other departments such as production, engineering, customer service or quality; These requirements can be maintenance to production orders, first samples, pilot batches, claims, returns or services and work with products supplied by customers.- Participates and executes OPEX improvement projects, new products, as part of interdisciplinary teams within the organization, administrative activities of the annual inventory,- internal and external audits of the quality system or the Materials and Procurement Planning process.**Qualifications**:**_ SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:_**Scholarship:- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Administration or related career.- Certificate in APICS: CPIM or CSCP (desirable).Experience in:- Plan and control production in a manufacturing company in the mechanical metal industry for at least 1 to 3 years.- Generate material and capacity requirements.- Manage production based on the monitoring of service level indicators, IQR, Days on Hand, etc.- Follow up directly on each of the production processes of the plant or with suppliers
