Plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. Advise management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed. Schedule equipment and personnel; confirm material supplyand demands; prepare work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements. Coordinate interdepartmental activity with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Inventory Control, Traffic, and Contract Administration. Schedule and expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, and requests for shipping orders; analyze inventory usage, scrap, and shrinkage, and coordinate any appropriate action. Assist management to solve problems concerning over shipments, shortages, engineering changes, and cancellation of orders.Qualifications:2 - 3 Years experience in Planning area.Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration, or similar.Bilingual Spanish / English.Intermediate knowledge on ERP, MPS, and MRP methodologies.Work independently, responsible for the planning, scheduling, and/or control of designated production areas.Interface with management and staff of multiple departments to ensure smooth materials flow.Monitor scheduled versus actual activity for variances; report attainment of schedule versus plan, analyze regular reports, and identify problem areas.Investigate issues and implement recommendations for resolution.Oversee the accurate maintenance and data input of scheduling/materials flow information in the SAP system.Lead project analyses to assess materials flow accuracy and process.May recommend modifications to departmental policies and procedures.Perform other duties as required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
