Our team is focused on continually improving our best-in-class production capabilities. We combine deep domain expertise and tenured experience to deliver unparalleled products for our customers. Here you'll interact daily with team members during the problem resolution process and will partner with other key stakeholders to support our internal customers and their responsibilities.
How will you make a difference?
As a member of the Global Operations Equipment group in Apodaca NL, you will be part of fulfillment team, you will drive to improve supplier OTD%, Material Availability by reducing Overdue and Late POs, and be responsible for overall PO management. You will help bring a strong focus to continuously improving both our team and our processes.
What do we want to know about you?- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Buying/Procurement or similar- Speak proficient English- Experience with Oracle (desirable)- Strong quantitative and analytical skills- Ability to work in a lean environment- PC and database proficiency- Strong oral and written communication skills- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.- Ability to prioritize with strong attention to detail.- Sense of urgency- Teamwork- Customer focus
What will your typical day look like?- Place and follow-up on POs (Purchase Order)- Manage relationships with suppliers including On Time Delivery, Material availability, Lead Time maintenance and reduction.- Update MRP systems- Balance tactical execution with strategic initiatives necessary to drive Material Availability and other key business metrics.- Develop awareness of manufacturing processes and improve product knowledge.- Contribute to projects as team member within the Fulfillment organization.- Direct interaction with Planning, Quality, Finance, Warehouse and Production teams.
What about the physical demands of the job?- Exposure to shop floor requires wearing PPE.
