**Position Summary**
Execute material planning for purchased components in alignment with the production plan requirements. Utilize MRP to effectively communication schedules and purchase orders to suppliers, follow-up with suppliers daily, manage inventory levels to ensure consistent flow of materials, and provide daily updates to the production planning/master scheduling teams
**Responsibilities**
- Execute material planning to procure raw materials & components
- Accountable for inventory levels of set of suppliers/components
- Utilize MRP to ensure timely and accurate communication of supplier schedules and/or discrete purchase order releases
- Manage the ramp up/ramp down of new products to ensure consistency of delivery and minimization of obsolete inventories
- Monitoring PFEP in monthly base to ensure appropriate management of Kanban Boards & MRP planning parameters
- Minimize all inbound premium freight
- Root cause analysis on all supplier interruptions & develop robust improvement plans to ensure consistency of material flow
- Work with other departments and functions to resolve materials issues
- Expedite materials and/or any other supply issue according to business needs
- Participate and provide support in continuous improvement projects
- Maintain good relationships with supplier base to ensure two-way communition

- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Operations/Production Management, Supply Chain Management or related field
- APICS CPIM certification desirable
- At least 2 years of Experience in a similar position
- Wide knowledge of MRP systems, Materials Planning & Inventory Management
- Bilingual English/Spanish
