When you add that to the challenges we take on and solve together, you'll discover that at HARMAN you can grow, make a difference and be proud of the work you do every day.What You Will DoCoordinate and facilitate with MRO Buyer timely purchases of raw materials, packaging, and purchased components.Establish Master Production Plan to meet Harman plant #1 needs.Conduct cycle counts on inventory to verify raw material and finished goods inventory.Enter data into spreadsheets and ERP System to ensure accurate record-keeping.Facilitate the Vendor Performance system to ensure optimal supplier relationships.Work with Quality Assurance, process, Tool Room, and Production departments to meet production and maintenance schedules.Ensure data integrity of the IQMS / ERP databases.Complete paperwork for daily, monthly, and annual reports related to job responsibilities.Prepare production schedules and work orders for the production department. Update and maintain mold movements, preventative requirements, and set up sheets for the Production Department.Maintain cycle count records for finished goods products.Provide clerical assistance for the data entry of purchase orders and may process internet or catalog orders for production-related buying.Possess excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across all departments.Demonstrate proficiency in databases, spreadsheets, and word documentation.Exhibit good interpersonal skills.What You NeedIndustrial Engineering or related field, Proven experience in a Planner / Buyer role3 + years in the plastics injection molding industry.Experience with MRP / ERP systems SAP preferably.Knowledge of Microsoft Office.BilingualWhat is Nice to HaveStrong interpersonal and communication skills as well as negotiation skillsAPICS certificationHARMAN is proud to be an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
