.Descripción y detalle de las actividadesJob Summary: The Planner/Buyer will develop and implement supply chain strategies to support our new manufacturing facility's launch and ongoing operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, supply chain management expertise, and the ability to collaborate across various teams to ensure a seamless transition and optimal operation of the new manufacturing setup. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support the new facility's operations. - Support ERP supply chain setup. - Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with new suppliers to meet the facility's material and component needs. - Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement and reliable supply. - Create and maintain detailed material requirements plans based on production schedules and forecasts. - Monitor inventory levels and ensure an adequate supply of materials to meet production demands. - Analyze demand patterns and adjust procurement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs. - Issue purchase orders and manage the procurement process to ensure timely materials delivery. - Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing. - Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any supply chain disruptions or delays. - Implement best practices and lean principles in supply chain management. - Coordinate with internal teams, including production, quality, engineering, and finance, to ensure alignment on supply chain activities. - Regularly update senior management on supply chain status, risks, and opportunities. - Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding supply chain matters. - Utilize supply chain management software and tools to track and analyze data.Experiência y requisitosQualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. - More than five years of experience in a planner/buyer role, with a focus on supply chain establishment and management. - Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, procurement processes, and inventory management. - Excellent negotiation and contract management skills. - Proficiency in supply chain management software, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite. (Experience in IFS is a plus) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus. - APICS or other relevant supply chain certification is preferred. - Availability to travel internationally
