In 2021, Littelfuse had net sales of $2.1 billion.Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager, you as a Materials Planner will be responsible for maximizing service levels while minimizing inventory levels, requisitioning of purchased component materials and expediting materials through production and review current production schedules that support the manufacturing process. Creates, tracks, and reports on the current production schedules.About the job:- Creates, tracks, and reports on the current production schedules.- Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity to provide inputs that determine processes, tools, materials, and labor requirements.- Work with suppliers to continuously improve performance on inventory levels and lead-times.- Work directly with schedulers and production staff to establish business rules for order priorities and expedites.- Follow up on new products implementation to ensure the supply on components.- Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity to provide inputs that determine processes, tools, materials, and labor requirements.- Draws conclusions on potential improvement strategies for review with the production planning team.
