Overview:
1 STATEMENT:
Regional CoE Distribution Requirements Planner will improve inventory management through reporting, analysis, and working with key stakeholders. Responsible for replenishing inventory over the pick-up centers and distribution centers in accordance with the inventory policies. Also manage the purchasing and planning for the items produced locally. Interact with local suppliers, logistics, sourcing, tax, and front office teams. Provide support for S&OP meetings, update and monitor KPIS.
The responsibility will validate inventory distribution requirements at the distribution center, access point or sales center including minimum and maximum levels, and adjust parameters as needed.

3 DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with local and foreing suppliers to ensure they provide not just finished goods as needed, but they also share the rolling forecast of material in the downstream supply chain. This involves constant interactions with the first and second layers suppliers, monitoring their performance, and managing supplier relationships.
- The planner needs to manage risks that could affect the service level, as supplier delays, material disruption, quality issues, etc. This involves work closely with Sourcing, R&D, Quality, and Suppliers to develop contingency plans and work on solutions.
- Responsible for the kit planning activities, determining the needs of materials and the assembly schedule in the outside vendor. These activities demand coordination with suppliers, logistics team, transportation team, cost accounting team, sourcing team, tax team.
- Work with transportation team to determine the best use of the exclusive truck of Herbalife, which is used to pick-up finished goods at manufacturing facilities. This involves a planning decision regarding what are the priorities to ensure the proper stock levels.
- The third-party logistics provider has a fixed daily inbound capacity, so the planner needs to plan the scheduling receiving to mitigate impact due to this constrain.
- On a weekly basis the planner must monitor the occurrence of old records (POs, PRs) to closed or adjust due dates.
- Besides finished goods, the planner is also responsible for planning the shipping supply items, monitoring the consumption by checking weekly the Oracle transaction at every DC, place and follow up the orders.
- Managing stockouts: the planner needs to manage the communication with the Member Service and respond the HCM inquiries related to product availability.
- Update and monitor the Planning KPIs.
- The planner needs to be able to support some activities related to Demand Planning and during the preparation for the local S&OP meetings.
- On a monthly basis share with the Financial Team the planned receipts for all SKUs so they can do their cash flow analysis.
- Managing obsolescence: Monitor and identify potential scraps and work with Marketing to ensure actions to minimize the losses.
- Responsible for managing the inventory replenishment for the DCs and Pick-up Centers
- The replenishment process demands that the planner coordinates actions between different teams, as tax team, warehouse team and transportation team.
- Responsible for review, update and set the planning parameters in the DRP tool (Neogrid)
- Planner must critically analyze the replenish orders generate by DRP tool by checking if there is any supply constraint to meet the distribution plan. If there is any constraint, the planner needs to adjust the replenish order to balance inventory over the DCs.
- The planner must run the lot shelf-life analyses to prevent shipping lots that may have potential risk of scrap, and then selecting a specific lot, for a specific SKU, for a specific DC.
- Provide weekly reports regarding inventory control activities, including inventory levels, out of stock reports, shipments status.
- Daily follow up of the status of the shipments between DCs with the transportation team.
- Managing stockouts: the planner needs to manage the communication with the Member Service and respond the HCM inquiries related to product availability.

4.1 SKILLS:
- Excellent analytical, problem solving/decis
