The scheduler/planner performs various functions in ensuring that the work being done within a company is performed in a particular order to attain the efficiency projected, he/she ensures that whatever product is being run the manufacturing department meets or surpasses the set goal or standard and/or required level.
Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the production process.

Responsibilities**:
- Creates and/or organizes the production schedule on a daily basis and also make sure that every output (level) is recorded appropriately in the correct system
- Works' hand-in-hand with other employees to make sure that all issues that are related to scheduling are properly handled and resolved
- Works closely with vendors to make sure that the company's supply needs are adequately met in a timely manner
- Rectifies and/or reconcile differences and inaccuracies that have to do with shipment and deliveries to customers
- Makes sure schedules are given to employees in a timely fashion and that any distortions in the company's schedule are accounted for always
- Ensures that every employee involved in the production process (Production Supervisors, Quality leads and Manufacturing Engineering) has a clear understanding of what needs to be run according to production levels and has a clear understanding as to what it is required to meet the order against product demand
- Maintains different reporting systems to make sure that all forms of documentation are accurate and in a timely manner
- Analyzes Current Demand vs Forecast report every month
- Reviews trends in the demand in coordination with Operations
- Analyzes capacities and supply chain
- Implement strategies to meet with mains metrics: On Time Performance, Inventory levels, Inventory turns, Quality, Productivity and among others
- Participation in NPI projects
- Every month analyzes E&O inventory report to scrap, identify at risk materials or reduce the purchasing for specific components
- Daily communication with different departments to support and resolve issues
**Requirements & Skills**
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Public accounting, or related field).
Experience leading Planner/Buyers Team.
- Experience in the Planning process 5-7 years
- English 90%
- Knowledge and management of MRP/MPS/ERP
- Knowledge of Oracle, MFG pro, PC, advanced Excel, and software associated with Outlook, Microsoft Word.
