Summary: VES is looking for a Planner to join our team in our Matamoros, Tamaulipas location. The planner is responsible for production order management and day-to-day execution on the shop floor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
The Planner must identify and establish planned items as well as define and coordinate planning strategy.Daily review of existing orders to ensure date management integrity and respond to customer requests.Experienced to execute: Forecasting, Order Promise, MRP, Master Data, Engineering Change, Inventory Management and Turns.Performs rough cut capacity planning (RCCP), balancing demand with capacity and communicating changes to the master planner.Loads and maintains demand management plan. Conducts production planning coordination meetings with various teams, obtains feedback from internal and external manufacturing staff and suppliers, and uses that input to determine appropriate inventory levels to meet business requirements.Provides feedback to develop strategies to optimize inventory trends and performance.Education and/or Experience: 5 years of experience in production planning.Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.Previous experience in ERP planning: SAP (desirable).Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.Bilingual (English/Spanish).Thank you for your interest in a career with Varel Energy Solutions.
