**Position Summary**
The production planner's main function is to plan and schedule daily production, considering the inventory level goals (DSI's) and Customer Service (OTD) and late back log established for the current fiscal year.
**Responsibilities**
- Monitor the standard amounts of Desired Inventory and ensure they are maintained
- Make a daily production schedule, reviewing and updating the sequence board (Heijunka Board)
- Provides and verifies delivery dates for special orders, ensuring compliance.
- Carry out the finished product replenishment system based on the inventory strategy.
- Meets DSI and LISC established goals for the current fiscal year.
- Provides a finished product shipment plan required by Sales or by the Customer in the event of having a product in late backlog or line stoppage.
- Monitors and analyzes the "Plan for every part" reports of the finished product on a monthly basis.

- Industrial engineering, logistics or related degree.
- 3 years in a similar position.
- Inventory management, planning, production control and MRP solid knowledge.
