Planner I

- Supports Operations in planning for capacity requirements and establishing production priorities on a daily basis.
- Develop strong partnerships with internal/intercompany customers and be instrumental in coordinating continuous improvement efforts to ensure excellent on-time delivery status and service levels.
- Manages finished goods and raw material inventories to predetermined levels. Assures demand information is analyzed and reviewed with Supply Chain, Demand Management & Marketing. Assures Production Schedule and Manufacturing Schedule Compliance within Goals.
- Negotiates lead times and monitors the supply stream with respective suppliers.Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering, mathematics or business.
- 3 years experience as a Planner.
- 3-5 years experience in the Manufacturing Environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, proven in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated leadership.
- A proven track record of utilizing advanced purchasing/planning approaches (including JIT, KanBan, Consigna, Vendor Managed Inventory, Lean Manufacturing, Capacity Planning, Inventory analysis techniques, and Cycle Counting).
- Experience with ORACLE or other major ERP/MRP software applications.#J-18808-Ljbffr
