_**Education/Work Experience**_:_
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Procurement or related field or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years' experience of related experience in materials scheduling in a manufacturing/repair environment.
- Good skillset with MS Excel
- Outstanding interpersonal, written and communication skills required
- Ability to demonstrate intellectual curiosity, accountability, attention to detail and business acumen.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Coordinates material flow and inventory management of material required to support production schedule and customer orders.
- Requests material delivery to and from production line and develops strategies for improved material flow.
- Develops production build plan by analysis of customer required material requirements and delivers on-time performance commitments.
- Maintains build plan based on Kanban, Just in Time, Build to Stock, and Priority Routing methodologies.
- Coordinates production flow with appropriate Supervisor/Manager based on the review of a combination of line capacity levels and staffing levels.
Adjusts priorities for production based on changing customer needs and line output variables.
- Utilizes MRP tools and techniques as required to manage and plan whole unit or component material.
- Coordinates with Program Managers and/or Business Unit Managers for all customer interaction and development of customer requirements
- Coordinates activity with customer order administration and maintains completion rates as per customer requirements.
- Maintains WIP, Backlog, Shortage, Forecast, and various other reports, as required, to support program and order management.
- Communicates with customer status of build plan and drives the material requirements needed from customer sources as needed to ensure on-time delivery of build plan.
- May be required to prepare forecasts, manage Approved Vendor Lists, and coordinate material requirements with the Buyer-Planners.
- Responsible to communicate clear and concise information in a positive, professional manner, to both internal and external customers.
- Able to interact effectively with various employees, from line level to management level.
