Job Summary

We are seeking a Materials Planner to manage the supply levels for our manufacturing operations. In this role, you are responsible for forecasting our supply needs and ensuring we always have materials on hand

Planner will be responsible for:
Creating and releasing production orders,
Monitoring production order progress,
Material availability,
Monitoring and maintaining a Kanban system,
Managing vendors by placing orders,
Performing negotiations and regularly reporting progress and issues
Manufacturing planning, purchasing, and daily cycle count inventory reconciliations

Experiencia y requisitos
4+ years of experience as a planner in manufacturing environment
Education in planning and purchasing is a definite advantage.
English Fluid
Excell advanced.
APICS (CPIM) experience
Must be proficient in usingERP systems
Hands-onexperience in performing detailed planning of manufacturing
Experience in lean manufacturing and/or six sigma is a definite plus
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast pace environment
Excellent time management skills and ability to make decision
Experience in defining or review planning processes is a definite plus
Excellent communication skills
