**Planning and Strategy Manager**:
Objective:
The role requires a mix of skills including project management, customer-facing experience (with knowledge of the product and credit / sales process), strategy and proposition development.
We are looking for a high performing individual with the ability to manage customer and internal stakeholder relationships, to co-ordinate complex, multi-product solutions and to help build a new business from the ground up.
The role presents an opportunity to contribute significantly to high a profile strategic initiatives.
Activities:
- Develop needs-driven solutions for our customers in order to grow relationship-led revenues across the HSBC Group
- Strengthening customer base by winning new long-term relationships
- Detection, development and execution of business strategies
- Drive projects in line with strategic plans
- Communication and reporting to senior stakeholders
- Master the use of brand identity and guidelines to build visually consistent interfaces across different channels or platforms.
- Keep up to date on studies, benchmarks, trends, competitors, success stories, new technologies and innovation.
- Champion and support tracking of delivery through group systems
- Meet with clients, seek input and work collaboratively with multiple functions within the client organization to assess opportunities.

**Skills**:
Essential:
- Experience in programme or project management
- Strong communication skills (both written and spoken).
- Excellent influencing skills - able to manage a broad set of stakeholders with different priorities and drive engagement and alignment.
- Energy and drive - a strong sense of accountability and the energy and tenacity to drive change in the face of potential inertia and resistance
- Experience managing complex decisions and priorities, across multiple jurisdictions, multiple product lines and multiple stakeholders.
- Confidence and track record in building solid working relationships with key stake-holders.
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Proven experience designing stunning interfaces with design principles, interaction, colour, iconography, grids layouts and typography.
- Experience creating design systems and toolkits for mobile and web platforms right from the start.
- Understanding of atomic design, illustration and image edition software, also prototyping tools.
- Ability to work in duo with UX Content Designers.
- Deep understanding of design principles.
Desirable:
- Typical qualifications would include an undergraduate or post-graduate degree in relevant area.
- Experience with HSBC systems (incl.
OMNIA, CME)
- Experience in Commercial Banking, Retail Business Banking or Global Banking.
- Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of how to generate strong returns.
