The Production Planning will lead the development and implementation of the Production Scheduling strategy to facilitate the cost-effective flow of mechandise from suppliers to customers.
This role will be responsible for Demand Planning. Experience of SAP System with exposure to supply chain / production / meterial master / bill of materials / warehouse - internal and externalUnderstanding of capacity planning within a SAP environment (deputizing for MPS when required)Overview of the daily build plan, that encompasses manufacturing cells and sub assembly areasDeal with daily backlof of customer shipments - and scheduling deliveries and providing information to the Customer Service Team on past dues, missing components, recovery dates, tracking information, and support of the Supply Chain TeamTake necessary actions to eliminate delays to ensure adherence to production and shipping schedules. Create workflow changes as necessary on an on-going basis for prevention plan for timing issues.Communicate all changes to staff members to ensure engagement and comprehension
