Business Unit: Sensors & Fluid Management
Job Description:
AMETEK Aerospace & Defense is looking for a strong Manager to work in our Reynosa, Mexico facility in support of the Sensors & Fluid Management Systems Business Unit.
The role involves working with Purchasing, Operations, and Master Scheduler to ensure production/materials plans and inventory levels are balanced to meet customer On Time Delivery and inventory/working capital goals while supporting operations linearity.
A strong team leadership ability to delegate and drive accountability is required.
The candidate must be a self-starter and able to work in an aggressive, fast-paced, and flexible environment.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Bachelor's degree in Operations Management /Supply Chain Management or similar field of study preferred, or applicable work experienceAPICS certification a plusMust be fully bilingual (English/Spanish), both spoken and writtenInventory management, including ERP inventory control, cycle counting, and reconciliation7+ years material planning, scheduling, production control, or supply chain role in a manufacturing industry, electronic components preferred, aerospace industry a plus.Demonstrated performance in achievement of inventory reduction, operations performance, and business financial objectives.Experienced people-leader, able to navigate direct and indirect reporting structures to achieve strong financial and customer-focused results.Proficient in SIOP (S&OP) processes, able to clearly communicate critical issues for action by cross-functional SIOP team members.Detail-oriented, well organized, self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.Proficiency in Oracle (preferred) or similar ERP/MRP system.Holds self accountable and takes responsibility for actions and team.Open to continuous change with the ability to learn new skills.Hands-on, self-motivated, self-starter, strong work ethic, self-advocate.Strong communication skills, including a strong English language capability.
Clearly communicates with key stakeholders to drive action and understanding.Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Proficient in MS Excel, including advanced spreadsheet creation and manipulation.Organized and prompt, both with scheduled needs and response to issues.Willing and able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.Computer proficiency in PC-based applications including Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to new software programs.Conflict Resolution and Problem-Solving experience.Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively; capable of active listening; visual acuity to process reports.
