The Planning Supervisor mentor and supervises a team of production planners to ensure production plans are aligned to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner. Works with purchasing, warehouse, and logistics to secure material availability. Uses ERP and MRP to coordinate material planning and review accuracy of backlog report.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Daily Backlog review (Data accuracy: past due update, current, future).
- Daily alignment of production plans (Metal Fab + Harnesses/XMFR).
- PDSL improvement plan (Daily update with specific misses, 1 st and 2 nd level Pareto).
- SIOP file prep.
- CTB analysis (Highlight major concerns, daily executive summary).
- Metrics/KPI follow up (RCAs, Action Plans).
- Support any requirement from PMs (Pull ins, push outs, new order feasibility, etc.).
- Bi-weekly RCCP for their plants or product lines.
- Actively participation in Tier 3 (Metal Fab & XFMR, Planning), provide insights and escalate issues.
- Properly and timely communicate when an issue rises that could impact production plan/PDSL.
- Actively participation in Tier XX, provide insights and escalate issues.
- Actively participation in CTB meeting. Highlight any shortage for next 14 days.
- Timely attend/close Andon events.
- Manage a team of Sr. Planners/Planners/Analyst.
- Deliver/update reports in a timely manner.Foster effective and timely communication among peers, supervisors, and clerks
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechatronic, Mechanic or Administration.
- Between 5-7 years of professional experience and +2 years as People Manager.
- Experience in Electronics or Metal Mechanic Manufacturing Environment, high mix-low volume.
- Knowledge of MPS/MPS systems and management.
- English 70%.Master's Degree (desired)
