.**JOB DESCRIPTION**- This position is in charge of making sure the plant has all the components need it to produce our customer needs. Responsible of all buyer planners, coordinating to have all part that are need it for our production schedules without any extra cost, and avoiding E&O. Including New products.- Maintain good communication at all levels. Suppliers, planners, GSM, GSMA, Plant operations, import export, cross dock, etc.- Have control on inventory numbers, RIP, in transit and consignment. Following the Corporate guidance.**MAJOR RESPONSABILITIES**- Reduce Excess and Obsolete- Review lead time and MOQ and work with Purchasing to make it happen- Review planners Scorecard review for vendors.- Provide GSP access to all new suppliers or any change need it- Train vendors on GSP- Reduce Air freight expenses.- Make sure planners expedite parts and create manual PO to bring samples parts for NP.- Work on engineering changes making a proper implementation date.- Review and actions on past due, blocked invoices, purch req, and exception reporting- Consignment implementation plant working with the Global commodity manager.- Responsible of having all PO's and correct cost in SAP, according with the Global Commodity information or NP team.- Review lead time and MOQ's according with demand- Responsible of SS audit every two months.- Analyze and delegate Engineering changes to determine the effectivity date of the change for the component.- Responsible to create manual MRO PO'S for Tooling repairs or maintenance and/or equipment need it due to increases.- Direct communication with all planners for team activities.- Responsible for monthly and annual Inventory estimates- Responsible for Airfreight detail report and AF estimates- Supplier Portal administrative- Make sure all productions parts have a supplier assigned.- Support with confirmation on shortages to Operations team.- Close communication with all suppliers.**Responsibilities associated with the ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001 Management Systems**- Ensure that the Quality, Environment and Health and Safety management systems are implemented at work and maintained in accordance with the requirements of the current Standards of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 respectively, when changes are planned and implemented.- Be accountable for the effectiveness of the Quality, Environment and Health and Safety Management Systems at work to Senior Management and their work team- Make sure the Quality and EHS Policies are followed.- Make sure to have and / or request the necessary resources for the implementation of the Quality, Environment and Health and Safety systems- Maintain communication at all levels about the performance of the organization about the Quality, Safety and Health Management systems.- Promote the continuous improvement of the Quality, Health and Safety Management systems through integrated projects that have an impact on Quality, Environment and Health and Safety
