**II/ AIM OF THE POSITION**
Lead at local level, resolve daily issue, and improve the purchasing performance for the plant.
The role of the Plant Buyer is to manage the supplier's performance (financial, Quality and Delivery) at the plant level and to support the plant Quality and Logistic function while facing operational issues with the suppliers
**Immediate superior: GENERAL MANAGER HERMOSILLO**
**Functional manager: REGIONAL BUYER AMERICAS**
**ROLE**:
- Performing administrative tasks related to raw material suppliers.
- Participating in the development of new suppliers for México plants.
- Resolve daily issues, respect contractual commitment, take the lead on local projects.
- Leading at local level claims process to the suppliers.
- Monitoring quality and delivery KPIs of the suppliers alongside with Quality and Procurement departments.
Sourcing for the Items or subcontracting which are not consolidated at branch level
- Local opportunities
- Short-term subcontracting
- Structural subcontracting (if not bundled at branch level)
PC&L Support
- First level of escalation in case of plant emergency (supply crisis)
- Support to the SQC while purchasing action is needed
Management of Serial Purchasing
- Ramp up / Ramp down, Rescheduling, Change request, End of life
Owner of OTD and OQD performance for the plant
- Monthly industrial performance Workshop
- leads the monthly Industrial performance meeting (triplette) together with the Procurement Agent and the SQC
**ACTIVITIES UPON REQUEST FROM HIS/HER MANAGER(S)**
1. Minimum Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering with complementary degree in Procurement or Business Management degree with a complementary degree in Supply Chain or Procurement.
2. 5 or more years of experience in Global Purchasing within the Aerospace or a similar industry.
3. Familiarity with SAP ERP platform.
4. Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Office and Product Lifecycle Management.
5. Spoken and written English proficiency is mandatory for communicating with customers, vendors and other employees.
6. Spoken and written French proficiency is advantageous, but not required, for communication with Latecoere Corporate.

5. Project Management Skills
a. Understand Project Team organization.
b. Work in close collaboration with multifunctional people.
c. Good knowledge of the MFT process, metrics and expected outcomes
