**Scope**
Ensure that the accounting, financial and tax functions are not compromised, develop the Finance team and promote an environment of internal control and continuous improvement.
**Main activities**
- The Plant Controller is responsible for the company's financial plans.
- Maintain tax records.
- Prepares financial reports for management review.
- Create/Develop the Finance Department in order to provide the company with the most effective and efficient accounting information, as well as reliable financial analysis,
- Maintain accounting records and safeguard financial information.
- Budget control, monthly, annual.
- Develops, analyzes, and interprets statistical and accounting information, in order to evaluate operational results in terms of profitability, performance with respect to budget, and other matters that influence the organization's operational soundness and effectiveness.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial provisions.
- Directs the final month-end closing process, including the analysis of accounts, variances and the presentation of the final results to Management.
- Review Federal and State taxes.
- Work closely with management in manufacturing in controlling actual expenses vs. budget on a monthly basis, investigate any questions they may have about their expenses.
- Prepare, analyze and distribute reports of variation in the Manufacturing process.
- Control monthly reconciliations and maintain the General Ledger.
- Comply with local, state, and federal requirements.
- Directs and manages cash and bank movements.
- Cash flow control.
- Produces reports for business and local management.
- Advises management on problems or issues based on analysis.
- Work closely with the US-Cluster, on Ad-hoc requirements and reports.
**Accountability including KPIs**
- Guarantee the reliability, accuracy and completeness of the site's financial information.
- Guarantee risks and opportunities are presented in an actionable manner to other Departments.
- Guarantee efficiency of financial/administrative processes (quicker, more accurate, more relevant)
- Guarantee the engagement & development of the Finance team.
**Profile (Experience & qualifications)**:
- Experience and education_
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Administration, Business Administration or similar.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supervision and Accounting, in a Manufacturing company.
- Experience of manual and automated accounting systems. Familiar with advanced finance tools in global finance market, also familiar with closing factory.
- Knowledge/Technical Skills required_
- Ability to analyze problems, provide logical and realistic solutions that result in oriented results.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Knowledge of SAP, advanced Excel.
- Sense of urgency.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Proactive.
- Accustomed to working under pressure.
- Bilingual Spanish/English
