Danfoss Mexico is looking for a Plant Controller for our Plant in Queretaro. As Plant Controller you will drive financial information analysis for month-end results regarding transactional accounts for payable, receivables, intercompany, automated short-term liabilities, manual short-term liabilities as well as the periodic reconciliation. Responsible for overseeing all balance sheet reconciliations as per Corporate and Divisional guidance, according to Danfoss policies and procedures; manage the performance of manual and automated transactions and liabilities accounts, manage and follow up all the open items raised in the multiple manual accounts; raising and clearing aged open items in a timely basis.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:Ensure activities are in compliance with the QMS (ISO-9001 and IATF16949) and quality policy, and also aligned with the strategic direction of the organization and business context.Ensure quality management system (ISO-9001 and IATF16949) requirements and resources are fully integrated and available within all business processes.Any other activity that your immediate supervisor designates.Support budget and project release control, capture requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and liabilities; documents for capital, validation of cost budget & performance, validation of expenditure control and leasing reporting and compliance deliveries.Maintain on a monthly basis controls and reports that help to comply with the auditors.Assume and motivate responsibility and accountability across the organization related to quality management system effectiveness.Lead monthly month-end & pre-month-end reconciliations, consolidation of data: Requisitions issue, Purchase Orders, Invoices issue, Milestones achieved, clearance and maintenance of aging in open items, adjustments agreed in the review meeting with the plant staff, preliminary closure of reconciliations and intercompany confirmation, commentary over reconciliation packages, working Capital commentary, Asset transfer & depreciation lines P&L's support and Pricing Actions report.Support Monthly financial statement results, trial Balance for above sites review during month-end, final commentary package report, actual results Working capital report, Risk & Opportunities (R&O) Assessment, freight & overall expenditure reporting management and balance sheet deliveries assessments.Promote risk prevention/assessment and process attachment.Support and/or participate in Continuous Improvement Activities such as: Kaizen, Ideas Programs, cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve business goals and objectives.Extended statutory and corporate requirements IFRS and NIF.Support the controlling transactions of automated accounts: Responsible for all the transactions related to the fixed assets, AP & AR modules since that is in synchronization with all operations. All accounting movements should be managed on MFG-Pro and Oracle PA, FA, AR & AR modules.Responsible for managing and following up on all the queries raised by operating stakeholders related to the Accounts payable and Accounts receivable operations.According to sales figures, determine AR balances per customer to be collected on a monthly basis in order to be considered for cash flow purposes.Validate on a weekly basis the overnight batch process between these systems, reconcile figures and maintain figures accrued in both software.Responsible for reporting of investments related to Assets short-term maintenance, Liability short-term maintenance, Automated accounts, capital expending, depreciations reserve, accruals, capitalizations, revaluation, portfolio and tooling aging, CAPEX FORECAST, and PREPARE SOX RECONCILIATIONS.Minimum QualificationsThe ideal candidate possesses these skills:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.Experience: 3 years.Advanced English.Excel proficiency.General knowledge of ISO/IATF 16949.General knowledge of OEA/CTPAT.Leadership skills.Decision-making ability.Financial knowledge in accounting and/or costs, and understanding of budgets and cost drivers.Effective communication skills.Focus on results.Forecast and profit plan preparation.Employee BenefitsWe are excited to offer you the following benefits with your employment:Bonus System.Paid Vacation.Opportunity to join Employee Resource Groups.This list does not promise or guarantee any particular benefit or specific action.
