This role is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of results and maintenance and protection of the company's assets through balance sheet integrity and ensuring a strong control environment. The Plant Controller also serves as the business partner to the Plant Manager and business unit focusing on providing financial support and leadership to the plant, namely budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting and for driving results and optimal decision making. You'll get to:Maintaining a strong control environment and accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and company policy.- Managing a complete and thorough month-end and quarterly close process- Ensuring full compliance and improvement to site internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (Key Controls) requirements- Coordinate and schedule year end plant physical inventory and oversee and support cycle counting- Maintain inventory control procedures and assist in their development- Oversee preparation, analysis, and reconciliation of specific accounts to assist- Maintain and control fixed asset sub-ledger and monitor and review fixed asset expenditures, CIP reviews and fixed asset audits- Proactively identifying business or accounting risks and implementing countermeasures where appropriate- Being a strong example of integrity and 'Doing the Right Thing'Function as a strong business partner with the Plant Manager and operations team to provide reporting and transparency that drive to actionable results
