The PDV is responsible for correct categorization of materials in the plant and ensure proper master data set up for products.
They review engineering releases and change requirements.
They coordinate the accuracy of the information on the different materials to be used by all plant departments.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Designs and implements plans for local sourcing to reach the business targets.
- Supports global sourcing initiatives as required.
- Applies and implements PL standards, tools and processes in the area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost and sustainability.
- Creates and updates reports, as required, following the ABB standards.
- Executes and implements new directions within the area of responsibility.
- Applies standards on health, safety, environment and business ethics within operational work, contract management and negotiations.
- Delivers and participates in training programs as required for compliance and professional development.
- Executes effective and transparent communication internally, externally and between different units and centers.
- Standardizes processes and implements routines as per Group directives/instructions.
**Your background**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical or similar Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in similar positions.
- SAP Experience and/or Key User.
- Experience in Key User MM or PP modules.
- Advanced Excel management.
- Master data parameterization.
- Advanced English level (able to maintain fluid conversations).
- Teamwork and organized.
