Our client is a European, family-owned, private company operating in the automotive sector.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Manager to lead our operations in Toluca, Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry, specifically within Tier 2 supplier companies, and possess excellent leadership skills with the potential to advance to a General Management role. Reporting directly to the Global CEO, the Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the plant's operations and driving growth in alignment with the company's global strategy.Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of 6 direct reports across various functions including Commercial, Operations, PMO, Quality, Finance, and HR. The plant total headcount is approximately 100 people. Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance, enhance productivity, and achieve operational objectives. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence throughout the organization. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Drive cost reduction initiatives and maximize operational efficiency. Collaborate with global leadership to align local strategies with the company's overall goals and objectives. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive business growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the automotive industry, preferably in Tier 2 supplier companies. Proven track record of success in driving operational excellence and achieving business results. Strong leadership abilities with the potential for future growth into executive leadership positions. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (both written and verbal). Hands-on approach with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
