We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations and ensure continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and efficiency.The Plant Manager will be responsible for managing all plant operations, leading a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring the successful execution of production goals.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in harness manufacturing or the automotive industry, possess a strong background in lean manufacturing practices, and have successfully led multi-site operations, including transfers of production lines across locations.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics.Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams to achieve operational excellence and meet production targets.Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing methodologies.Manage multi-site operations and execute production line transfers between facilities, both domestically and internationally.Ensure compliance with quality management systems such as TS and AS standards.Collaborate with international teams and clients, ensuring effective communication and project execution.Develop and manage plant budgets, optimizing resources to achieve financial objectives.Ensure a safe working environment, promoting health, safety, and environmental practices.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational improvements.Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders, both locally and internationally.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Plant Manager in the harness manufacturing and/or automotive industry.Proven experience managing multi-site operations and executing production line transfers.Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies.Familiarity with quality systems such as TS 16949 and/or AS 9100.Advanced English proficiency (verbal and written).Valid visa and passport with availability to travel as required.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Preferred SkillsExperience working with international companies and managing cross-border operations.Familiarity with financial reporting and budget management.Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics within the automotive sector
