Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Plant Manager. This position is based at our Juarex, MX location.
**What you'll do**:
Eaton is seeking a Plant Manager for its Electrical Sector in the Residential & Wiring Devices (RWD) division. The Plant Manager will be located in Juarez, MX reporting to the VP of operations. And is the site leader for a new manufacturing operation that started as a greenfield site in 2021. This exceptional leader will hold responsibility for profitability, safety, quality, productivity, materials management, delivery, training and continuous improvement. You will provide oversight for all capital requirements; and will be directly responsible for implementation and financial accountability.

Essential Functions:

The Plant Manager leads and coordinates, in accordance with company policies and division procedures, the plant staff organizations so that safety, production, quality and product requirements are met, costs are within budgetary standards, and best manufacturing practices are utilized in the maintenance and conservation of equipment and facilities.
- Manage both operational leadership team and functional staff including Quality, Finance, Continuous Improvement, Environmental Health & Safety, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Engineering and Maintenance.
- Act with analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to drive results within tight deadlines with changing priorities.
- Utilize Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing tools to lead cost improvement analysis and implement actionable, measurable plans.
- Champion a workplace focused on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to drive a zero-incident culture.
- Work collaboratively to end cost improvement analysis and implement actions.
- Foster a culture of early detection and escalations across the site to reduce cost, drive efficiency and ensure compliance.
- Partner with Human Resources to drive a talent management strategy, developing a capable team leader to build a strong succession plan within and outside your organization.
- Sets overall plant policies and procedures to ensure effective operations consistent with the Eaton Business System, Values and Philosophy.
- Aligns operational objectives with the overall business objectives to ensure a strategy-focused workforce.
- Drives the compliance to the ethics policy and holds others accountable for ethical conduct.
- Maintains a workforce of highly motivated employees with a morale that is conducive to high levels of employee engagement.
- Establishes interfaces with Divisional/Corporate management to assess customer needs and assures accurate project or program technical direction for operations engineering and manufacturing.

**Qualifications**:
- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 10 years of manufacturing leadership experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience leading people
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS or MBA degree preferred
- Lean Six Sigma and/or continuous improvement experience
- Experience with running a "connected" factory; deploying and utilizing the elements within Industry 4.0
- Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills
- Ability to effectively and confidently communicate ideas, concepts, and programs to all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated success in effectively and confidently providing leadership to employees in a constantly changing environment
- Must be able to effectively and confidently communicate and coordinate project assignments with employees, customers and suppliers at all levels of their respective organizations
- Fluent in Spanish and English
