The Plant Manager is responsible for driving continuous and significant improvements in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and working capital. This will be achieved by developing a world class plant operations organization and methodically implementing the strategic objectives (a unique combination of strategic planning, strategy deployment, lean management and manufacturing techniques).
- Drive rapid, significant, and sustainable improvement in on-time delivery, lot size, lead time and cost reduction
- Provide the leadership necessary for the development and execution of a manufacturing strategy
- Lead regular KPI reviews for the manufacturing team
- Leads the development and implementation of the roadmap to achieve breakthrough operating performance
- Coach and mentor, an outstanding team.
- Ensure key manufacturing metrics and key performance indicator systems are consistently tracked
- Continually evolve manufacturing efficiency and assess opportunities to reduce cost, taking aggressive action to drive financial performance
- Oversee coordination of the manufacturing function with sales, marketing, design engineering, and other functional organizations
- Continually benchmark best practices and drive use of such across responsible operations.
**Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is required. An MBA is preferred.
- 10 years manufacturing / operations leadership experience.
